After completing a Master’s degree in bioinformatics and biostatistics, I pursued a PhD in computer science / bioinformatics at Université Paris-Sud (now Université Paris-Saclay). My doctoral research focused on the integration and analysis of comparative genomics data. Following this, I undertook a postdoctoral position at University of Lausanne, Switzerland, where I specialized in the analysis of small-RNA sequencing data. I later joined GenoSplice, where I managed bioinformatics projects related to next-generation sequencing, particularly RNA-Seq.
I have been working at the Institut Pasteur Since 2015. I initially worked in the Evolutionary Bioinformatics Unit, developing new tools and algorithms to address the challenges posed by the exponential growth in sequencing data. Currently, I am part of the National Reference Center for Respiratory Viruses to develop and apply evolutionary bioinformatics methods for monitoring and tracking viral epidemics.
Beyond these activities, I am an active member of the French Reproducibility Network, promoting best practices in open and reproducible science. I am also involved in the PEPR Santé Numérique ShareFAIR project, which focuses on fostering the sharing and reuse of bioinformatics workflows through FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) principles.
