About

New Generation Phylogeny.fr: Refactoring Phylogeny.fr for innovative phylogenetic services

Phylogeny.fr is one of the main server available today able to run phylogenetic analysis pipelines. In the context of scientific workflows, none of the workflow systems (such as Taverna, WINGS and Galaxy) and their associated repositories of tools and workflows (e.g., myexperiment.org, Galaxy tool sheds, …) provide runnable phylogenetic workflows.

In this project, we developed NGPhylogeny.fr, which provides a set of pre‐designed phylogenetic workflows adapted to different user needs. These workflows are built, stored and executed on a Galaxy server, and are made of a complete set of phylogenetic analytical tools encapsulated in Galaxy wrappers.
