Hugo Varet is a biostatistician engineer from the Ensai (Ecole Nationale de la Statistique et de l’Analyse de l’Information) and has been recruited in 2013 by the Transcriptome & Epigenome Platform of the Biomics Pole. Late 2014 he obtained a permanent position at the Bioinformatics & Biostatistics Hub and has continued his work on the analyses of RNA-Seq data. From January 2021 to August 2023 he was detached to the newly created Metabolomics Core Facility in order to set up bioinformatics analyses and help in the development of the platform. Starting from September 2023 he is 100% dedicated to the Bioinformatics and Biostatistics Hub.
