Présentation
SHADE is a Shiny application for providing support to research teams in refining their experiments designs. In particular, SHADE was designed to help biologist with nested designs, raising awareness on common statistical biases. It includes a tool to perform power analysis for usual statistical tests in a step-by-step approach, depending on the amount of information available. A reporter tool is also included to draft the form required by the ethic’s committee (CETEA) for animal experimentation, in a user-friendly interface. Initially created to design experiments using animals, SHADE might also be used to design any type of experiments (cell culture…).
The application is still undergoing developments to fit as closely as possible to the users’s needs while maintaining an easy didactic structure for smooth usage.
