I have over twenty years’ experience as a bioinformatics research engineer in both academic and industrial environments. I have a master’s degree in biomathematics from the Université Denis Diderot (Paris 7, France). I gained solid experience working for two biotech companies (Genset and MCL – Molecular Cytogenetic Labs) over a period of ten years. During this time, I developed tools for analysing genomic data to study human diseases, and customised a chip for diagnosing neurological pathologies (CGH array). I joined the Institut Pasteur’s proteomics platform in 2007. I was responsible for all aspects of bioinformatics applied to mass spectrometry-based proteomics, from data generation to analysis. In 2018, I joined the Environment and Infectious Risks research unit headed by Jean Claude Manuguerra to work on the development and implementation of solutions for the identification and characterisation of pathogens from clinical, animal or environmental samples. I have acquired solid expertise in project management and monitoring, as well as in the analysis and interpretation of ‘omics‘ data.
