Since November 2014, I joined the Bioinformatics and Biostatistics HUB at Institut Pasteur. I joined the WINTER group where I’m in charge of web and interface development projects. I have completed an UX-Design training to add extra value to my front-end development skills. I design and develop bioinformatics tools and interfaces that are users/scientists oriented.
As an UX Designer I work on different research websites, such as IPPI-DB a database of modulators of protein-protein interactions where I was in charge of the redesign of whole website and the implementation of the dedicated contribution form. I’m also involve into the design, the implementation and the content update of Modelisation-covid19, a dedicated website to consult the work carried out by the Mathematical Modelling of Infectious Diseases Unit, headed by Simon Cauchemez. This space provides access to data on current dynamics as well as the research work of the team.
Using users research and interviews to understand their needs and motivations, co-conception workshops to turn those insights into ideas and prototypes and finally successive rounds of tests and iterations, leads to the perfect User Centered Design website.
