I currently lead a junior group in the Virology department of Institut Pasteur. My research interests lie in RNA virus discovery, emergence, transmission, and evolution. Within the group, we use viral genomics to study evolutionary processes of RNA viruses, with a focus on arboviruses such as dengue and Zika. Like many others, we are also contributing to the fight against COVID-19. We combine molecular epidemiology studies thanks to amazing collaborations within the Institut Pasteur International Network and experimental work, both in vitro and in vivo. We work a lot with our great colleagues at the Mouse Genetics laboratory and the French National Reference Center for viruses of respiratory infections.
