I currently lead a junior group in the Virology department of Institut Pasteur.
My research interests lie in RNA virus discovery, emergence, transmission, and evolution.
Within the group, we use viral genomics to study evolutionary processes of RNA viruses, with a focus on arboviruses such as dengue and Zika. We are also interested in the large spectrum of symptoms severity that can result from a viral infection.
We combine molecular epidemiology studies thanks to amazing collaborations within the Institut Pasteur International Network and experimental work, both in vitro and in vivo.
We still work a lot with our former host unit, the Sakuntabhai lab.
