Notre laboratoire utilise la souris comme mammifère modèle pour élucider le contrôle génétique de caractères complexes, qui résultent d’interactions entre de multiples gènes et des facteurs non génétiques. Nous nous intéressons essentiellement à la sensibilité à plusieurs maladies infectieuses bactériennes ou virales, en particulier à des pathogènes émergents. Notre stratégie est de mettre à profit la variabilité génétique présente dans des collections de lignées de souris issues de croisements entre différentes sous-espèces de souris.
