I have been the manager of the Pasteur Proteomics facility since September 2013. I am responsible for the operations of the proteomics platform and the coordination of the different ongoing projects. I did my PhD research in the group of Dr. Bernard Monsarrat and Dr. Odile Schiltz at the Institute of Pharmacology and Structural Biology (IPBS, University Paul Sabatier, UPS, also known as Toulouse III, France). As part of my PhD work, I used high-resolution mass spectrometers, including the LTQ-Orbitrap, in combination with various quantitative proteomic approaches. My focus was on stable isotope labelling strategies (SILAC and ICAT) to study the proteasome inhibitor effect in acute myeloid leukaemia cells. I then moved to the Institute of Molecular Systems Biology in Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule (ETH Zürich) as a post-doctoral fellow in the group of Professor Ruedi Aebersold. I worked on multiple projects using mass spectrometry to assess changes in protein abundance and posttranslational modifications, e.g., ubiquitin, SUMO, and chlorination of proteins using discovery-driven and targeted mass spectrometry. During this time, I utilised the new data independent acquisition mode developed in Ruedi Aebersold Lab, namely SWATH-MS.
