We study the role of the protein-protein interaction domains called PDZ. PDZ domains are scaffold modules regulating the cellular trafficking, the auto-association and the catalytic activity of essential cellular proteins. We have two lines of research: the rabies virus neuronal infection and the mutations in PDZ Binding Motif (PBM)-containing proteins associated to the Usher syndrome.
