Marc Lecuit, MD, PhD, is a microbiologist and an infectious diseases physician. He is the Director of the Biology of Infection Unit at the Institut Pasteur and Inserm (U1117) and of the Listeria National Reference Center and WHO Collaborating Center. He is a Professor at Université Paris Cite and Deputy Head of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine at the Necker-Enfants Malades University Hospital. ML is a member of EMBO and of the Academia Europaea, a Fellow of the European Academy of Microbiology and ESCMID, and a Senior Member of the Institut Universitaire de France.
