Rémi is our deputy scientific manager of the P3 laboratory, so he is in charge of training all newcomers on the functioning of the laboratory. He also ensures that there are always the required consumables, organizes the weekly cleaning team shifts and intervenes if necessary in case of problems.
he is currently working on improving a rapid plague screening test (an antigenic strip-test similar to that for COVID-19).
Rémi also supports various students in their work when needed (for experiments on animals, bioluminescence or any special handling in the P3 laboratory)
Finally, Rémi is allocated 15% to our National Reference Center for Plague and other Yersinioses.As a result, he regularly participates in the identification of the different strains sent to the NRC.
