Born and raised in the south of France, I moved to Paris to study at the Magistère Européen de Génétique (Université Paris VII, now Université Paris Cité) where I specialized in immuno-genetics and cell biology. I then joined the lab of Ana-Maria Lennon-Duménil at Institut Curie (Paris, France) for my PhD, where I studied the cellular and molecular mechanisms governing B lymphocyte polarization, their involvement in the regulation of antigen extraction and presentation, as well as the impact played by the lymphoid microenvironment in tuning these functions. As a postdoctoral fellow, I joined Guillaume Duménil’s lab at Institut Pasteur (Paris, France) to decipher the innate immune response to meningococcal intravascular infections, focusing on the role of neutrophils and macrophage subsets. Since October 2022, I have been recruited as a Permanent Research Scientist at INSERM to explore the function of perivascular macrophages at the blood-tissue interface and uncover their roles in regulating skin health and disease.
