Computational biology and data science are central in life sciences and biomedical PhD thesis. The Bioinformatics and Biostatistics Hub, the Image Analysis Hub, the Data Management Core Facility, the HPC Computing Center and the Scientific Information Resource Center (CeRIS), with the support of the Student Life Office, have developed this training program dedicated to the Institut Pasteur doctoral students to enable them to acquire or review fundamental concepts in these fields, integrating them with practical exercises. Depending on their background, students are strongly encouraged to validate the mandatory data management, biostatistics and fundamental concepts of bioinformatics modules and to choose additional optional modules in bioinformatics, biostatistics and image analysis.
