Our laboratory is based at Institut Pasteur de la Guyane, in French Guiana (a region of France located in South America). We are studying how the mosquito microbiota affects its host and impacts disease transmission.
We notably focus on Anopheles darlingi, the main malaria vector in the Americas, which is still poorly characterised despite its medical importance.
