In collaboration with the swiss consortium InfectX (https://www.infectX.ch) we have previously performed high through-put microRNA screens to identify novel gene networks modulating the infection of host cells by Listeria. We are now : 1) validating key signaling microRNA networks which down-regulate or up-regulate infection by Listeria, and 2) characterizing in detail the molecular contribution to the Listeria infection process of proteins encoded downstream of the most critical microRNAs networks identified above.
