Réservoir naturel et mode de transmission inconnus. Infections secondaires par contact direct avec sang contaminé ou sécrétions corporelles. Mortalité dans 50 à 90% des cas. Soudan, République Démocratique du Congo, Côte d'Ivoire (Grossissement X 40000).
