Since November 2019, I am a part-time clinical microbiologist (MD) specialized in mycology and parasitology at Hôpital Saint-Louis, Paris and a part-time PhD student in the molecular mycology Unit of the Pasteur Institute under the supervision of Vishukumar Aimanianda. My PhD focuses on the interaction between the pathogen Aspergillus fumigatus and the human innate immune system. My clinical research focus on developing and testing new molecular tools to diagnose fungal infection and evaluating resistance epidemiology and mechanisms in medically relevant fungi.
I graduated from Nantes medical school in 2014 and pursued a medical residency in clinical microbiology in Paris. I obtained a master in Science in microbiology from Université Paris Descartes. My project focused on deciphering the role of chitosan in Aspergillus fumigatus cell wall within Don Sheppard team in McGill University Research Center in Montreal, Canada.
