Patricia Jeannin is graduated in virology (Master of science in medical virology)
She work in Pasteur Institute since 2003.
Patricia Jeannin takes part to the diagnostic of flu viruses in influenza CNR (Immunology : ELISA… Molecular Biology :PCR, Sequencing… Virology : viruses culture, virus production on eggs… and Cell culture technologies).
She also works on HIV controlors to search for immunological markers. (Immunology : ELISpot, FACS… and Cell culture technologies.)
Actually, Patricia is involved in collaborative research between the Necker Enfants-Malades Hospital (Adult Hematology Service and Onco-Hematology Laboratory) and the Institut Pasteur (Epidemiology and Pathophysiology of Oncogenic Viruses Unit). The aim of this study is to develop PDX lines in mice for ATLLs, in order to study the mechanisms of leukemogenesis linked to infection by the HTLV-1 virus, and to evaluate the effectiveness of new protocols / molecules to therapeutic aim.
She is too associated to researches on different biological barriers (intestinal and blood brain barrier) to study the physiopathology of HTLV (Molecular Biology : PCR, Blot, Cloning… Immunology : ELISA… Cell culture : compatimented system, filter system….).
Lastly, she is the hygien and security correspondant of EPVO unit.
