I am an early-career researcher with a multidisciplinary background in veterinary medicine, genetics, and infectious diseases, specializing in mouse genetics to study host-pathogen interactions and vector-borne viral diseases.
In our team, we use advanced genetic tools and innovative in vivo models to investigate how host genetic and immune factors shape susceptibility to infection and influence viral transmission. We are developing mouse-mosquito and mouse-tick models to explore vector-host-pathogen interactions and uncover the genetic mechanisms driving arbovirus dynamics.
In addition to my research, I serve as Head of Study for the “Mouse Genetics for Disease Modelling” Master’s course at Institut Pasteur and, as a member of the Central Animal Facilities, manage complex genetic resources and coordinate strategic collaborations that enhance the utility and reach of this unique resource. This role supports the broader research community and facilitates the development of innovative models for infectious disease studies. I also lead the animal facility component of key strategic initiatives at the Institut Pasteur.
