My PhD is supervised by two labs at Institut Pasteur : the Synthetic Biology Lab and the Evolutionary Microbial Genomics unit. My research interests include molecular evolution, comparative genomics, microbiology, bioinformatics and synthetic biology. My main interest is trying to better understand evolutionary dynamics in bacteria to improve biotechnologies. More specifically my PhD is about the horizontal transfer of CRISPR-Cas systems.
I was trained as an engineer at AgroParisTech I obtained my master degree in biology from the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Paris (CRI). I am civil servant of a French administrative body called “Ingénieurs des Ponts Eaux et Forêts” and Iobtained a mastère degree in public policies management from Ecole des Ponts ParisTech.
Outside the lab, I am involved in an association that promotes science towards young people and gender equality in science (WAX Science).
