Présentation
What’s best to study humans and their infectious deseases than Human emulation system ?
It’s now possible at Pasteur to develop real Organs-on-chips with cells from different sources, patient derived or cell line. At the Biomaterials and Microfluidic core facility, we make it possible. Working closely with Emulate, the leader in Organs-on-chips, we aim to implement this technology on campus.
What are the advantages ?
Closer to your research and human physiology than animal models, Organs-on-chips are used in numerous studies, from the simple Intestine chip to more complex Liver chip everything is availables.
With our Zoës and Orb, you can control all the parameters (Flow and Stretch) of your culture allowing it to be as close as human physiology as possible.
It can be used just for organ modulation and cell study as well as bacterial or viral infection of specific organs.
