Cellular Plasticity and Disease Modelling group uses stem cell biology and mouse models combining with highthroughput genomic analysis and molecular biology approaches to study the regulation of cellular plasticity in the context of cancer and ageing, with a particular focus on cellular senescence and regeneration. The department of Developmental and Stem Cell Biology is a dynamic and international research enviroment with labs working on diverse topics. The candidate will also be part of the Revive LabEx, a network focusing on stem cell research.
We are seeking a highly motived postdoctoral candidate to join us and work on highly competitive/exciting topics. Recently, the group discovered that cellular senescence promotes cellular plasticity to enable in vivo reprogramming (Chiche A et al., Cell Stem Cell 2017, 20(3):407-414). The candidate is expected to continue and expand this work. Applicants should have a solid record of scientific achievement and be highly commited to producing high-quality science. Preference will be given to candidates with proven record in ageing and/or tissue repair using mouse models.
The contract is for one year but extendable. The successful applicant will be strongly
encouraged and supported to apply for competitive external fellowships.
