Motivated young scientist to work in electron microscopy platform
The Ultrastructural BioImaging team (UBI), composed of 13 microscopists, supporting a well-equipped electron microscopy technology platform. Collaborating with Pasteurian as well as with external researchers we provide scientific research services including technological expertise and equipment. The platform offers a wide variety of sample preparation and imaging techniques and is particularly focused on host pathogen interaction and pathogen characterization. In this context we are seeking an engineer to augment our service capacity, and for the right candidate can provide training.
Mission: Situated at the historic campus of the Institut Pasteur in Paris the UBI platform is equipped with five state-of-art electron microscopes and twenty sample preparation systems. The ideal recruited engineer will work on biological sample preparation and observation be in charge of implementation of transmission electron microscopy methods. Under the responsibility of the Platform director, the engineer will be in charge of appropriated equipments, will manage himself collaboration with researchers. (Training will be provided).
