A little guide for advanced search:

  • Tip 1. You can use quotes "" to search for an exact expression.
    Example: "cell division"
  • Tip 2. You can use + symbol to restrict results containing all words.
    Example: +cell +stem
  • Tip 3. You can use + and - symbols to force inclusion or exclusion of specific words.
    Example: +cell -stem

QBIO/Cancer Initiative Joint Symposium – to see the programme, click here

Tumour progression is a multistep process involving complex interactions of the tumour cells with their environment. The integration of physics and mathematics are essential to understand these multiple steps, could it be through the interrogation of clonal dynamics within the tumours, or the influence of mechanical forces on tumour growth and cell invasiveness. These different aspects will be covered in this short symposium to illustrate how physics and mathematics contribute to our understanding of cancer progression.
