About
Inauguration of the (re)new(ed) HistoPathology Core Facility and its new services for Digital Pathology.
Come and learn about the new digital pathology services deployed in 2024 and discuss how they can support and enrich your research projects.
The D-Patho project, funded by the DIM-1Health and the Institut Pasteur, aims at completely redeploying the histopathology platform and offer new services that will complement the expertise of pathologists. The new platform aims at offering new quantitative approaches in histopathology and digital pathology to the scientific community. To this aim, we invested in sample preparation devices, imaging devices and image analysis software to offer digital pathology to researchers in the région Île-de-France. This project draws on several tools and expertise in image analysis and data management already deployed in the IAH and new cutting-edge equipment deployed within the HPCF.
The ‘open-day’ event will introduce to the scientific community the new services. Dr. Brice Rotureau will deliver a scientific presentation showcasing the impact of histopathology on disease Research. We also invited representatives from the industry partners of the project, Zeiss (provider of the new slide scanner) and Visiopharm (image analysis software for histopathology) and they will give a technical introduction of the technologies and capabilities of the new devices. Finally, demonstrations and visits will be organized, so that you can directly interact with engineers and providers. This half a day event is made to be stimulating and inspiring for your research project.
