A little guide for advanced search:

  • Tip 1. You can use quotes "" to search for an exact expression.
    Example: "cell division"
  • Tip 2. You can use + symbol to restrict results containing all words.
    Example: +cell +stem
  • Tip 3. You can use + and - symbols to force inclusion or exclusion of specific words.
    Example: +cell -stem
e.g. searching for members in projects tagged cancer

About

The Qbio program is organizing his second symposium on Friday, 9th June on the theme ‘mechanical forces in biology’ (amphitheater Jacques Monod).

100 year after the publication of the seminal work of d’Arcy Thompson “On growth and form”, the contribution of mechanical forces to the organization and homeostasis of living matter has gain more and more interest. This symposium aims to foster interactions between researchers in Institut Pasteur and from Paris sharing interests for the role of forces in biological matter, from the molecular scale to subcellular, cellular and tissular levels.

For this second symposium (detailed program attached) we will have 6 speakers from Pasteur, 5 speakers from Curie and a panel to discuss the needs in mechanobiology at Pasteur (new instruments, new expertise, how to create or organize a plateform…)

Registration is free but mandatory, here: https://forces-in-biology.eventbrite.fr

Please join us to hear and discuss about ongoing exciting research on this topic.
