The Innate Immunity Unit (Inserm U1223, Paris, France) is looking to hire degree-qualified (MD, PhD, DVD) post-doctoral fellows to join an ongoing project on human innate lymphoid cell (ILC) biology. Our laboratory has a long-standing interest in lymphocyte differentiation and in particular, the processes that lead to the generation of natural killer (NK) cells and ILCs. The proposed project will analyse signals involved in promoting innate lymphocytes differentiation – ILC-poiesis – from ILC precursors (ILCP; Lim et al. Cell 2017) for use in cell therapies. The Innate Immunity Unit is fully equipped, embedded in the Immunology Department, and has access to state-of-the-art platforms (flow cytometry, single cell analysis, animal facilities including germ-free conditions, microscopy and proteomics). The Institut Pasteur offers a highly dynamic and international academic environment in the center of Paris.
Candidates should have a demonstrated track record of productive research, the ability to work independently and a strong collaborative spirit. Previous experience with laboratory rodent animal models and flow cytometry is highly desirable.
