Roberto received his B.S. in Biology from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and his Master in Neuroscience from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. His thesis project is based on understanding what is the nature and how Tunneling Nanotubes (TNTs) are formed, especially in relation to the processes of membrane protrusive activity, adhesion and fusion of the TNTs.
