Nathalie has been working at Pasteur Institute since 1988. In the beginning she used to work on the mechanism of transcription in Henri BUC’s lab with Annie KOLB. Then in 1992 she joined Maurice HOFNUNG’s lab to work first on the structure and the function of the protein MalE and then on proteins – proteins interactions with Jean Michel BETTON. She further developed her expertise in Michel GOLDBERG’s unit and integrated Pedro ALZARI’s unit in 2006 where she studied with Jean Michel BETTON protein folding and protein quality control system in the periplasm of E. coli, as well as the mechanism of the regulation of an envelope stress response in E. coli. She joined our lab in June 2014, first learning more about cyanobacteria and cyanobacterial maintenance with Thérèse COURSIN, and now takes care of a part of the PCC strains. Nathalie is also working using molecular biology on the research projects of the lab dealing with evolution and natural products.
