Perrine Parize is one of the deputy directors of the National Reference Center – Rabies (NRCR). After medical degree (Paris V) and master of science degree in epidemiology (Paris VI), she specialised in infectious diseases. She is sharing her time between the NRCR -Institut Pasteur and Necker hospital where she a member of the antimicrobial stewardship team.
Research interests
- Analyse of French epidemiological data about rabies, especially rabies post-exposure prophylaxis treatments data from the Antirabies Medical Centers French network. Surveillance of tendencies and new behavior concerning rabies exposures (travels, bats or non-human primates exposures…)
- Evaluation of the antibody response to rabies vaccine in laboratory and healthcare workers in order to provide data to autorities to improve national and international recommandations about vaccination schedule and monitoring of rabies neutralizing antibody in personnel requiring rabies pre-exposure vaccination due to their occupation. (PROSE study)
