Aging represents the major risk factor for most human diseases. Epigenetic dysregulation has recently emerged as potential driver of the aging process. We have demonstrated that epigenetic reprogramming can lead to the amelioration of age-associated phenotypes. Understanding the role of epigenetic dysregulation will allow the development of therapies to prevent the manifestation of age-associated diseases.
