My training is as an evolutionary virologist. I am interested in the processes’ of virus evolution (emergence, adaptation) at the theoretical level, but also at a more applied level understanding the interaction between the viral quasispecies and the immune system. At this moment, I am in charge of vertebrating all the projects in which our group is implicated, as well as increasing the data analysis capabilities of the IP international network.
