Since 2022, the Fondation Bettencourt Schueller established the Impulscience program to support and encourage researchers who contribute to France’s influence in the life sciences. Aimed at mid-career researchers, the program addresses two key issues: protecting the freedom of innovation of French scientists and offering long-term support. Each grant is worth €2.3 million for five years.
This year, Simonetta Gribaldo (Evolutionary Biology of the Microbial Cell) was one of the 7 recipients of this prestigious grant.
