How does the body cope with sepsis?
To help answering this very broad question, I develop new imaging tools based on two-photon microscopy of the living mouse. I especially investigate in vivo the altered behavior of microglia in the brain, immune cells in the lungs and lymph nodes, and satellite cells in the muscles.

APPOINTMENTS
After my PhD thesis (2010-2013) at the French Armed Forces Biomedical Research Institute, which dealt with the study of immune cells interaction in the lungs of infected mice using two-photon intravital microscopy, I worked as a postdoc at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) on imaging the cortical plasticity after stroke at the cellular and functionnal level.
