A little guide for advanced search:

  • Tip 1. You can use quotes "" to search for an exact expression.
    Example: "cell division"
  • Tip 2. You can use + symbol to restrict results containing all words.
    Example: +cell +stem
  • Tip 3. You can use + and - symbols to force inclusion or exclusion of specific words.
    Example: +cell -stem

A postdoctoral position is available in the group “Immunology of fungal infections”. Our lab is interested in deciphering the mechanism and physiology of innate immunological imprinting induced by pathogenic fungi. Appointed staff will join the renowned Institut Pasteur in Paris, within the Departments of Mycology (https://research.pasteur.fr/en/department/mycology/) and Immunology  (https://research.pasteur.fr/en/department/immunology/).

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated postdoctoral fellow to study the mammalian innate immune responses upon fungal infections. Combining in vivo and in vitro techniques, the candidate will understand how pathogenic fungi, such as Candida albicans, alter and modify the host innate immune inflammatory functions.

The applicant should hold a Ph.D. or equivalent degree. The candidate must have a solid background in analysis of host immune function and a strong interest in microbial pathogenesis and/or host-pathogen interactions. Experience with cellular and molecular biology as well in vivo murine models are highly desirable. Candidates must have prior publications, have excellent scientific and organizational skills, be able to work in collaboration, and have good English language skills for presentations and writing scientific papers.

Interested candidates should send a letter summarizing research interests and career goals, CV with publication list and contact information for three academic references to: jessica.quintin@pasteur.fr
