(CIRB (CNRS, INSERM, Collège de France))
Although the vaginal microbiota is known to be strongly associated with fertility, infection acquisition risk, and general well being, few studies focus on it in France and in Europe. Samuel Alizon will present insights from the PAPCLEAR clinical study, which features one of the longest and densest longitudinal follow-up of this microbiota in the world, and from mathematical modelling, to understand its strong structure and temporal dynamics.
