About
UniStem Day provides an opportunity to foster learning, discovery and debate in the field of stem cell research. High school students and teachers are involved in many activities regarding research. During the last edition, almost 100 universities and research centres in 13 different countries opened their doors to 30.000 high school students.
LabEx Revive has been organising this day in France for several years at the Institut Pasteur, until now the only research institute participating on a national scale.
Institut Pasteur colleagues are warmly invited to take part in the morning’s activities to support these intrepid high school students, who will be taking on the role of scientific apprentices for a morning.

At Institut Pasteur, students from NDO (78) and ENC Blomet (Paris 15th) participated in a mini scientific congress, offering them a unique opportunity to step into the world of research.
🔬 Morning Session:
- A keynote lecture on stem cells and hematopoiesis by Dr. Elisa Gomez-Perdiguero (Institut Pasteur).
- A presentation on the latest clinical research on retinopathies by Dr. Walter Habeler (I-Stem).
- Student presentations: High school students delivered scientific reviews through oral presentations and posters, evaluated by a jury of experts. Topics ranged from myopathies and cancer to the impact of the microbiome on depression.
💬 Afternoon Session:
- A speed-meeting with researchers and professionals from various scientific fields, helping students discover the diverse career opportunities in research.
👏 A big thank you to all speakers, jury members, and professionals who contributed to making this event an inspiring and enriching experience!
This event was organized by LabEx Revive with the support of SupBiotech, Institut Pasteur, ANR, and DIM ELICIT.
