A little guide for advanced search:

  • Tip 1. You can use quotes "" to search for an exact expression.
    Example: "cell division"
  • Tip 2. You can use + symbol to restrict results containing all words.
    Example: +cell +stem
  • Tip 3. You can use + and - symbols to force inclusion or exclusion of specific words.
    Example: +cell -stem
e.g. searching for members in projects tagged cancer

About

The CB UTechS in collaboration with Agilent Technologies is organising a Cell Analysis Workshop centred around the Seahorse technology.

Seahorse XF Analyzers measure oxygen consumption rate (OCR) and extracellular acidification rate (ECAR) of live cells in a multi-well plate, interrogating key cellular functions such as mitochondrial respiration and glycolysis.

At this Workshop you will learn:
  • How to detect changes in cell bioenergetics with the Agilent Seahorse technology
  • How to best normalize your Seahorse XF data
  • How to quantify ATP production via glycolysis and OXPHOS

Agenda

09:30 – 09:35   Arrival and Introduction

09:35 – 09:45   Bruno Charbit, Pasteur Institute: Exploring cellular metabolism at the CB UTechS

09:45 – 10:30   Sofia Vikstrom, Agilent Technologies: Introduction to Seahorse XF Technology, New Developments and Applications

10:30 – 11:00   Géraldine Gentric, PhD, Institut Curie: Metabolic heterogeneity in Human Ovarian Cancers: Mechanisms and Pathological consequences.

11:00 – 11:30   Coffee Break

11:30 – 12:00   Asier Sáez-Cirión, PhD, Pasteur Institute: Immunometabolism and HIV pathogenesis

12:00 – 12:30  Catherine Brenner, PhD, CNRS, Gustave Roussy: Involvement of metabolism and autophagy in cardioprotective activity of cardiac glycosides

12:30 – 13:00   Laura Surace, PhD, Pasteur Institute: Mitochondrial dynamics and metabolic reprogramming orchestrates human NK cell effector functions

14:00 – 17:00   Sofia Vikstrom, Agilent Technologies: Best Practices and Data Analysis: How to make the most of your Seahorse XF Data
