The Echo 550 instrument enables non-contact liquid handling using sound energy, high speed, contamination-free transfer of cDNA, siRNA vectors, proteins and crystallography reagents – in nanoliter increments.
Echo Plate Reformat software offers a variety of transfer functions, including plate replication, library compression and customizable reformatting. A drag-and-drop user interface and color-coded plate preview simplifies setup of even the most complex assay plate layouts.
Echo Cherry Pick software enables transfers of any volume of liquid from any source well into any destination well. Based on an imported pick list, a sample is placed in the next available well of a destination plate or selected location. Control samples are distributed using an optional control pick list, with traditional row-wise and column-wise or randomized placement to reduce geometry-related analysis errors.
