Institut Pasteur (Paris, France) announces an international call for a mid-career (equivalent to associate professor/senior lecturer) group leader position in the field of Chemical Biology.
The role of this new research group will be to reinforce the capacity of the Institute in Chemistry and Medicinal Chemistry to develop new chemical entities to explore biological processes in vitro and in living organisms (chemical probes) and to propose new treatment and prevention strategies or detection methods (drugs, therapies, vaccines and diagnostic tools) within the main research areas of Institut Pasteur (antimicrobial resistance, emerging infectious diseases, cancer and neurological diseases). The candidate will have the mission to lead projects at the interface of Chemistry and Biology in close collaboration with the biologists and physicians of the Institute.
