A little guide for advanced search:

  • Tip 1. You can use quotes "" to search for an exact expression.
    Example: "cell division"
  • Tip 2. You can use + symbol to restrict results containing all words.
    Example: +cell +stem
  • Tip 3. You can use + and - symbols to force inclusion or exclusion of specific words.
    Example: +cell -stem
e.g. searching for members in projects tagged cancer

About

Pr. Stéphanie GRAS (La Trobe University, Australia) will discuss the structural determinants that condition T cell responses directed at SARS-CoV-2. Pr. Gras is a specialist of T cell receptor  (TCR)  structure and has recently elucidated a mechanisms involved in the cross-reactivity of SARS-CoV-2-specific CD8+ T cells for seasonal coronaviruses (Lineburg KE et al. Immunity, 2021).

In the second part of the seminar, Demetra CHATZILEONTIADOU, postdoctoral fellow in the GRAS laboratory, will present recent findings on the structure of HIV-specific TCRs. She will discuss how the structural plasticity of TCRs that enable the recognition of the same HIV epitope presented by multiple HLA-DR alleles.
