Veronique Fischer graduated from the University of Saarland, Germany and University of Strasbourg, France following a Franco-German Master’s program of Genetics and Molecular biology. She then obtained her PhD under the supervision of Dr. Laszlo Tora at the Institut de génétique et de biologie moléculaire (IGBMC), France. During her PhD studies, she assessed the role of two histone acetyltransferase-containing protein complexes in chromatin and transcription regulation. She now started a post-doctoral fellowship in the laboratory of Pablo Navarro Gil where she will study how transcription programs and chromatin states are maintained during cellular divisions.
