Présentation
In Escherichia coli and Salmonella enterica serovar Typhimurium, the regulatory protein Crl regulates gene expression by increasing the performance of RpoS/σS sigma factor to modify global gene transcription in stationary phase and under stress conditions. PFPR is involved in cloning different tagged constructions, producing and purifying RpoS and Crl of various species and mutant domains. Purified proteins were used for structural studies and in vitro assays to further assess the mechanism of Crl-σS interaction and its impact at the physiological level. ANR SIGMADAPT (2011-2015).
