David Bikard, head of the Synthetic Biology Unit, was granted an ERC Consolidator Grant to conduct his project entitled crInSitu (In situ genetic perturbation of gut bacteria with engineered phage vectors and CRISPR).
The project focuses on the development of new synthetic biology strategies to study and control bacteria in the gut microbiota.
