For 4 days, the members of the 11 research units of the Genome and Genetics department and representatives of IP research units with a secondary affiliation to our department met and shared in Pornichet.
After a difficult year with longs days working from home, it was a relief to finally meet up again. The 43 talks and two poster sessions offered a broad view of the great science being conducted in the our labs and affiliated labs while putting the emphasis on their large expertise from the bench to modeling, from viruses to human.
Those JDD were also an opportunity to reach out the public through several dedicated activities in the city’s primary schools, retirement houses and the “médiathèque”. 
After a dense program and many activities (without mentioning the thrilling gala dinner in search for a fictional murdurer), it’s time to head back to the lab and work hard :)
