Laura Garcia

I joined the Infectious Diseases Epidemiology and Analytics G5 Unit in 2021, first as a student during my Master 2 internship, and now as a research engineer. I worked on the assessment of the avidity of the antibody response to SARS-CoV-2.

I am working on Randox Laboratories & Institut Pasteur Collaboration Project for a development of SARS-CoV-2 serological assays on the Randox Evidence Investigator

• Research Engineer, Pasteur Institute, Paris, France, G5 IDEA (August 2021 – current):
  • Randox & Institut Pasteur Collaboration Project : evaluation of SARS-CoV-2 protein fractions made by Randox on Luminex assay (Magpix) & optimization in the Randox Evidence Investigator assay
  • Evaluation of antibody dynamics (IgG, IgA, IgM & IgG avidity) following vaccination against COVID-19.
• Master 2 Internship, Pasteur Institute, Paris, France, G5 IDEA (January 2021 – July 2021)
  • Development of a Luminex multiplex SARS-CoV-2 avidity assay
  • Evaluation of kinetics of antibodies (IgG, IgA, IgM & IgG avidity) following SARS-CoV-2 infection.
