Présentation
This Institut Pasteur – Université Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) symposium, in line with the recent Institut Pasteur (IP) – Université de Paris (UP) partnership, will be held on both campus (see below) and will above all be a shared space for meeting up, creating networks and discussion with series of short talks (5 min. each) and convivial breaks.
It aims at joining forces, fostering new collaborations and developing common and ambitious research projects between scientists of both entities around antimicrobial resistance research (Bacteria, Fungi, Parasites and their Vectors) & strategies under development to tackle this emerging urgent public health threats.
This 1st joint IP-UP AMR event, organized by Paola B. Arimondo (IP), Philippe Glaser (IP), Mélanie Ethève-Quelquejeu (UP) and Erick Denamur (UP), and restricted to IP and UP scientists, will be launched by an opening welcome speech by Christine Clerici (President of the Université de Paris) and Stewart Cole (Director of the Institut Pasteur).
