The European Developmental Biology Congress: a distributed meeting across Oxford, Barcelona and Paris 25th – 28th September 2023
The main hub of the conference will be in Oxford, UK, with two additionnal hubs in Barcelona, Spain and in Paris, at Institut Pasteur.
If you live in France, or closer to Paris, you may choose to attend the EDBC in the Paris hub.
Local registration will cost £55 with a discount of £30 for students and post-docs. Attendance is limited to 115, according to the capacity of the auditorium.
Local attendees in Paris will enjoy live talks, posters, and social events in Paris on Tuesday 26th September, with some talks being live-streamed from Oxford. Some short talks at the Paris site will be chosen from abstracts submitted for our local poster session. Two poster prizes will be awarded.
In addition, to this in-person one-day meeting on 26th Sept, all local Paris attendees will be able to come together to watch talks from EDBC Oxford and Barcelona on 25, 27 & 28th Sept live-streamed into the auditorium at the Institut Pasteur. This will allow you to enjoy the meeting among colleagues and without paying any additional fees for remote registration. The meeting in Paris will also include yearly events of the SFBD (Société française de biologie du développement): thesis prize lecture and general assembly on Thursday, September 28th at 9 am.
