The President of France, Mr Emmanuel Macron, presented on Thursday 7th, November his ambitions for the Scientific Research and for universities in the coming years.
As part of his discours, he also unraveled the list of distinguished members of the newly formed Presidential Council of Science whose aim is to advise and update the President on the present and future challenges that face the actors of Science in France. This conseil is composed of 12 members, 5 females and 7 males, from various field of research and among which are 2 recipients of a Nobel Prize.
The departments Genomes and Genetics and of Microbiology (2ndary affiliation) wish to congratulate Aude Berhneim, head of the “Molecular Diversity of Microbes” G5 lab of our department for having been appointment as Member of the Council.
